Trust Wallet’s search returns one “USDT” entry that expands into multiple network variants. The critical moment is the network pick — get it right and the balance appears; get it wrong and you see 0 even though the funds are safe.
📄Which Network Do You Hold?
Look at your address: starts with T → TRON (TRC20). Starts with 0x → Ethereum (ERC20) or BNB (BEP20) — check where the funds came from. Adding the wrong network just shows a 0 balance; the funds are still safe on the chain.
